Cookies
Last updated: 1 July 2026This page sets out which cookies gentlereleasetherapy.com uses, what each one does, and how to change your mind about them. Cookies are small files a website places on your device to help it work, remember things, or understand who visits. The three categories are described in plain terms below, with the full list further down for anyone who wants the detail.
You can accept, decline, or choose your own settings from the cookie banner when you first arrive, and you can change your choices at any time from the cookie preferences link in the footer.
The three kinds of cookies used on this site
Strictly necessary
These keep the site working. Some of them keep you logged in as you move between pages. Some hold your place when you are partway through a booking form. Others protect the payment page from misuse and help block spam. The site cannot run without these, so there is no toggle for them. They do nothing beyond helping the site do its job.
Analytics
These help us see which pages people spend time on, roughly where visitors come from, and where the site is working or not working. We use Google Analytics for this, and Kajabi (our website platform) has its own visitor counter as well. None of it is linked to who you are. We look at it in the aggregate, not by person, and it is used to make the site clearer over time. You can turn these off and the site works exactly the same.
Marketing
These are used by Facebook and YouTube. Facebook uses them to understand how people find the site, so we can share Gentle Release Therapy with the kinds of people it is likely to help when we are running an advertising campaign. YouTube uses them to know what to suggest to viewers watching videos we have embedded here. You can turn these off and the site works exactly the same.
Changing your mind
The cookie banner appears the first time you arrive. After that, you will find a "Cookie preferences" link in the footer of every page. Clicking it opens the same panel and lets you change your choices at any time.
Your browser also has its own cookie settings if you would rather clear everything at once. Every browser is slightly different, so a quick search for "clear cookies in [your browser name]" will show you how.
