The Purpose of processing

In order to add requests to join our newsletter subscription, deal with bookings and enquiries for courses, workshops and retreats; and respond to general enquiries we will ask for basic contact information such as name, address and telephone number.

Lawful Basis for holding and using Client Information

We will hold your data on a consent basis, you may withdraw your consent at any time either by writing or emailing us are unsubscribing from the newsletter through the links provided.

 What information we hold and what we do with it

In order to send you newsletters, deal with workshop and retreat bookings, and respond to general enquiries, we will ask for the following details:

Name, Telephone Number, Email Address, Address

We will NOT share your information with anyone else (other than appointed workshop tutors (for example if a complaint is raised), or for legal process, without getting your explicit consent.

We may contact you using the contact preferences you give me in relation to:

  • Providing you with additional information regarding the workshop/retreat

  • To respond to your enquiries     

  • Future events, special offers and promotions (you may unsubscribe from this at any time)

Our company is hosted on the Kajabi.com platform. Kajabi.com provides us with the online platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you. Your data may be stored through Kajabi.com’s data storage and databases. They store your data on secure servers behind a firewall.  

How Long we Retain Your Information for

Whenever we collect or process your personal data, we’ll only keep it for as long as is necessary for the purpose for which it was collected.

At the end of that retention period, your data will either be deleted completely or anonymised, for example by aggregation with other data so that it can be used in a non-identifiable way for statistical analysis and business planning.

The Purpose of processing student data

In order to give professional training, we will need to gather and retain certain information about you. We hold and use data in order to provide you with the best possible learning experience, support and advice. Basic contact details and information via my website to allow us to contact you and handle bookings.

Lawful Basis for holding and using Client Information (Helen Robinson)

As a full member of the Association of Reflexologists and the Federation of Holistic Therapists, I abide by their Codes of Practice and Ethics. The lawful basis under which I hold and use your information is my legitimate interests my requirement to retain the information in order to provide you with the most appropriate training, follow up support, and advice.

If you submit case studies as part of my training course, these will include health related information and in this instance my requirement is to hold this information until I cease to offer training courses  or for 7 years after you have attended my course, as this information may be required in the event of an insurance claim made in relation to your training.

You are required to get signed privacy statements from any person you keep records on, including case studies.  You will be required to submit a copy of this privacy statement along with any case study submitted to your tutor.

As I may hold special category data (i.e. health related information) about you, the reason which I hold and use this information is for me to fulfill my role as a Therapist trainer bound under the AoR and FHT Confidentiality clauses.

What information we hold and what we do with it

In order to give professional learning opportunities and follow up support to students the following information will be held:

  • Health issues which may affect provision of learning

  • Case studies submitted (if relevant)

  • Copies of certificates issued and records of students’ progress.

We will NOT share your information with anyone else (other than appointed course tutors (for example if a complaint is raised), or as required for quality verification, for legal process, or on your request to confirm that you have completed my course satisfactorily) without explaining why it is necessary, and getting your explicit consent.

 

We may contact you using the contact preferences you give me in relation to:

  • Providing you with additional supporting material for the course               

  • Therapy updates             

  • Future training events, special offers and promotions (you may unsubscribe from this at any time)
