Introduction to Gentle Release Therapy

"Is this the piece I've been looking for?"

You can still love the work you do and know you're ready to grow.

This Introduction is a gentle way to explore that question, in your own time.

What Gentle Release Therapy is

Gentle Release Therapy is a gentle, hands-on complementary therapy that works with the body, not against it. It draws together Traditional Chinese Medicine, cranial, endocrine and lymphatic release, and modern nervous system science to support body, mind and soul to settle and release what they have been holding.

There is no force, no manipulation and nothing to strive for. Instead, the hands rest lightly at specific points, or are held at a distance, creating the conditions in which the body feels safe enough to soften and release whatever it is ready to let go of, in its own time.

It can be received in person or by distance.

Considering it for your practice?

Many of our practitioners began exactly where you are now. Reflexologists, Reiki practitioners, massage therapists, osteopaths, counsellors and other complementary therapists who still loved the work they were doing, but felt ready to expand it.

Gentle Release Therapy isn't about replacing your current modality. It sits beautifully alongside the skills you already have, offering another gentle way to support the people who come to you.

"I have already completed various healing energy courses, however this one seemed to be the one that I had been searching for. It resonated so well with me and how I like to work."

Practitioners often tell us they love:

  • A gentle way of working that's never physically demanding.
  • A therapy that bridges the gap between talking therapies and bodywork.
  • A therapy that deepens the intuition and connection they already bring.
  • A supportive practitioner community that continues long after the training.

"It is suitable for everyone and I find it is my 'go to' when I am working with a client before I even put my hands on. It is so gentle and unobtrusive but so effective."

From Helen

Helen Robinson, founder of Gentle Release Therapy

I'm Helen Robinson, and Gentle Release Therapy grew quietly in my own treatment room, over years of clinical work. The gentler I was, the less I tried to force a result, the more the body responded. The first practitioner course ran in November 2018, and there are now Gentle Release practitioners across the UK and further afield.

This Introduction is how I begin teaching the work: small steps, plenty of space, in your own time.

Inside the Introduction you'll receive:

  • Ten softly guided learning days, short, easy-to-follow lessons released one at a time, or enjoy them all together as your own quiet retreat day.
  • Four calming meditations, from a gentle ten-minute reset to a deeper 53-minute relaxation.
  • Printable notes and a Body Map so you can follow along easily.
  • Lifetime access, so you can return whenever life feels full again.

Your first step

Some people know they're ready to train. Others simply want to experience Gentle Release Therapy first, and discover whether it feels like the right fit for them. That's exactly what this Introduction is for.

It's also your chance to experience how we teach, in your own time.

If you decide to continue your journey and join our Practitioner Training within the next 12 months, we'll deduct the full cost of this Introduction from your training fee.

The Practitioner Training itself is accredited by the Federation of Holistic Therapists and the Association of Reflexologists, among other professional bodies.

"I would recommend the course to anyone who is wearing themselves out doing deep tissue massages. It opens your eyes to other options."
