Supporting Neurodiversity in the Therapy Room

My presentation about Supporting Neurodiversity in the Therapy Room is now on You tube! https://youtu.be/F_sPpTVXrTA

Neurodiverse and highly sensitive people benefit greatly from complementary therapies to help reduce stress and anxiety, however coming to a therapy environment can be challenging in many ways.
I'm opening the conversation about what we can offer our clients to suit their unique needs and has developed a questionnaire which you can use to support your own clients, should you wish.

Whatever therapies you practice chances are some of your clients are Neurodiverse, whether they know it or not, and whether you know it or not and there are many things we can do to help the treatment room be a less stressful space and tailored to meet each individuals unique needs.

Personally I can't cope with polyester blankets...its like they shred my skin, I love essential oils but artificial fragrance gives me headaches. I'd also rather book and alter appointments online or by text rather than speaking to someone.

EnerQi Facial Rejuvenation

Menopause Pilot Study

The Eyelash and Brow industry has skyrocketed over the last few years, joining nails and hair as common beauty investments for many people. As a complementary therapist I wanted to help people not just look better but feel better too. So I designed the EnerQi Facial Rejuvenation Treatment to not just offer a natural facelift but to support clients physically, emotionally and spiritually.  And what we got was so much more, the improvements from peri-menopausal and menopausal women were beyond my wildest dreams. We want to share this with the world and help the many people that struggle at this time of life and this pilot study is our first step.

How Gentle Release Therapy is different to Reiki!

I often have people ask how Gentle Release is different to Reiki and I often say it is similar in that they are both Energy work, but Gentle Release is more specific. I believe because it is more specific and the focus on areas more in depth the results are therefore greater. Someone once commented Gentle Release was like Reiki on Steroids, and its been said many times since then.

Many of our Gentle Release Practitioners trained in Reiki before they found Gentle Release Therapy, here is what some of them said when I asked them about how they are different to them.

Gentle Release Therapy Supporting Motor Neurone Disease

We are extremely grateful to Scott for taking the time to share how Gentle Release Therapy has been supporting him.

I was diagnosed aged 42 in January 2012 with a rare familial type of Motor Neurone Disease (Kennedy’s Disease). The prognosis is a slow rate of progression and a ‘normal life expectancy’. Kennedy’s Disease typically affects the lower motor neurones unlike MND causes neuropathy in the distal limbs.

Exciting news!

The Gentle Release Spirit Points Course has now been accredited, 28 of our Gentle Release Practitioners have already done the training in the last few months, and are loving the results for both themselves and their clients.

The accreditation now means that anyone that is already a therapist, can come and attend the Spirit Points course and use it with their clients.

This is a fantastic opportunity, not only for your own personal development and transformation, but to be able to support your clients when they are feeling stuck and don't feel like they are on the right path. It is said that the highest level of healing comes on the path to fulfilment of destiny and this treatments helps you move back to your path.

The zoom online course has a launch price of only £95, however you do need to have done the Introduction to Gentle Release Therapy Online Course first. There are in person courses scheduled too, although these will differ in cost depending on venue.
